The minecraft 1.19 experimental snapshot 1 for minecraft java edition released today. I will show you all the additions, changes and fixes added to this snapshot! This minecraft 1.19 snapshot adds the ancient city structure which generates in the new deep dark biome. The chests in the new structure are guarded by sculk sensors and sculk shriekers which can alarm the warden. The new enchantment swift sneak 3 allows the player to move at the same speed when sneaking and walking. The ancient cities contain a mysterious portal made of reinforced deepslate. The warden can give the player the new darkness effect which lowers the fog distance and adds a pulating effect lowering the gamma. The deep dark biome is covered in sculk blocks and is home to the warden. Sculk blocks can transfer vibrations to sculk sensors. Sculk veins can now be waterlogged and placed in any orientation. The sculk shrieker responds to sculk sensors and can summon the warden mob. The sculk catalyst block causes mobs that perish to create a bubbling charge in the sculk that causes it to spread. The warden can smell the player and will get angrier the more vibrations it recieves. The warden can roar and will do a lot of damage. It can be distracted with any projectile.
