While many fans and celebrities are praying for the recovery of DMX, others have expressed themselves against praying for the Rapper saying that he knew what he was doing (which this channel disagrees with).

In April 2021 during the fast spread of COVID-19, DMX was one of the string of celebrities to use IG Live to connect with fans but he did it spiritually. The rapper hosted a virtual bible study, reading verses from the Bible to his fans with beautiful greenery behind him.

During this time, the pandemic had already forced many places of worship across the world to shut down to respect the social distancing measures put in place. DMX hosted a series of bible study to bring some spiritual enlightenment to fans during these dark times. Reading several scriptures from the Bible, DMX carried the conviction from his music into the scriptures that he read.

50 year old DMX is in the hospital on life support after suffering a heart attack following a drug overdose. The rapper’s lawyer, Murray Richman told The Associated Press Saturday evening that DMX was admitted at New York’s White Plains Hospital and that “he’s quite ill.”

Murray Richman later said DMX had been taken off life support and was breathing on his own, but when asked later by CBS News to confirm those details, Richman said “not to my knowledge.

DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, burst on the rap scene in the late 1990s with songs like “Party Up” and “Get At Me Dog.” His first five albums debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts. The 50-year-old is also an actor and has appeared in numerous movies.

DMX was released from prison in January 2019 after serving a year behind bars for tax fraud and this was not the first time he blacked out following a drug overdose. We are glad that DMX dedicated his life to Christ before all this happened.
