★ DIYs/Hacks in this video ★

1 – DIY Natural All Purpose Cleaner
1/4-1/2 cup of white vinegar, 15-20 drops of tea tree essential oil, enough water to fill spray bottle.
**UPDATE: Recipe has been updated and no longer contains baking soda.
**Note – Ideally you want to use a glass or aluminum bottle due to acid content of vinegar

2 – DIY Natural Granite Cleaner
1-2 tsp. of dish washing detergent, and enough water to fill a quart-sized spray bottle. You can also add 1/4 cup of isopropyl rubbing alcohol, but since there is conflicting information on it’s toxicity I chose not to use it.

3 – Easy way to get rid of deodorant stains from shirts – use pantyhose, it’s like a deodorant stain magic eraser!

4 – To clean the inside of narrow bottles – pour in some vinegar, a teaspoon of baking soda and water and let it sit for 15-20 minutes, this will disinfect and dissolve all the residue from the bottom – just rinse it out with water and you’re done.

5 – Air deodorizer/disinfectant use tee tree oil in a diffuser, a diffuser breaks up the oil molecules in the air which cleans it of bacteria, viruses, molds and other germs – if anyone in your house is sick with a cold or flu this can help clean the air and prevent it from spreading! Link and more info about my diffuser can be found in my Night Routine video.

6 – Easy way to clean your blender –fill it with water and a dash of dish soap and then run the blender. No scrubbing necessary and just rinse clean.

7 – Sponges can harvest a lot of bacteria – to disinfect wet it with water and put in the microwave for 2 minutes. It will be hot so leave it in there to cool off for a minute before grabbing it.

8 – An easy DIY sponge holder that allows your sponge to air dry and prevents mildew formation – just use a large binder clip

9 – How to clean coffee maker. Use ½ water and ½ vinegar solution and run that through your coffee maker. Then run it two more times with just water. After doing this you will notice your coffee with taste fresher!

10 – To clean out your microwave put ½ cup vinegar in water and run your microwave for 3 minutes. This will create a steam that will loosen and caked on food and allow you to easily wipe it clean

11 – To both unclog and freshen your drain – use ½ cup baking soda and a cup of vinegar this will remove the fatty acids that accumulate on your pipes and also will leave your disposal smelling fresh

12 – To create your own natural disinfecting spray just add 20 drops of tee tree oil to water – I also add some lemon because I like the smell. Keep this with you in your purse

13 – Another option is to use a tin mint container and cotton pads to have premoistened wipes with you

14 – To deodorize and disinfect a cutting board, rub it with lemon and baking soda, and then finish by rubbing it with coconut oil , which will keep it protected and prevent it from cracking

15 – A super easy fruit and veggie wash is to soak in a bath of water and vinegar. Then drain and rinse with water.

16 – To get rid of pet hair on the carpet between vacuuming you can use a squeegee

17 – DIY reusable dryer sheets. Vinegar is a natural fabric softener. Fill glass jar with ½ cup of vinegar and 15-20 drops of your essential oil of choice – whatever you want your clothes to smell like. Then put several rags in the mixture and seal the container. When you’re ready to use ring out the excess liquid and pop in the dryer with your clothes. Will soften and scent your clothes!
